Off Route 66!

Traveling the Mother
Road?
It's All Here...Off
Route 66
You've either
already done it, or should hope to one day...the ultimate road
trip across all or even a portion of historic, Old Route 66!
Whether by motorcycle, car or RV it's known as The Mother
Road and it's full of fun and
kicks. Old Route 66 spans the USA from Los Angeles to Chicago
(or Chicago to Los Angeles) and all
points in between.
Enjoy the focus on our New Mexico
leg, including the Turquoise Trail. "Off Route 66" is loaded with the local P.O.V. on where to eat, drink,
play, sleep, and more.
"Turquoise
Trail"...
The
Turquoise Trail travels some 52 miles between
Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The natural geological
formations found in this area are like nowhere else on Earth.
Coronado was the first white man to pass along the Trail.
Later explorers included New Mexico's most famous
frontiersman, Kit Carson, French traders, and the thousands of
pioneers that trekked the Santa Fe Trail. Whether you’re a
Guest in our lovely State or a resident looking for a
leisurely drive, get off the interstate and follow Route 14.
The Turquoise Trail is like a passage back in time through old
mining towns, including areas alive with artist’s & crafts
people, great places to eat, sleep and more!
